ENVS 195A: Environmental Leadership Incubator
Have you ever wanted to make a real difference in the world? To develop your leadership skills? To learn how to inspire and motivate a group of people? If yes, then consider applying for the Environmental Leadership Incubator (ELI).
ELI is a nine-month, six-unit program designed to mentor UCSB undergraduates through the leadership process, from the conception of an idea through to its implementation. The program starts with a fall quarter course (ENVS 195A W/F 12:30-1:45 pm) which is aimed at helping you develop your leadership skills and formulate a plan for your environmental leadership project. In the winter and spring quarters (ENVS 195B and ENVS 195C), you or your team make that project a reality, with the guidance of an expert mentor and the ELI Program Manager. ELI concludes at the end of spring quarter with Capstone Presentations.
Apply for ELI here. Application review begins on Monday, May 4th at 10 am.

Also, save the date for our Capstone Presentations by our 2025-2026 cohort on Friday, May 29th from 12-2:30 pm in Bren 4016. All are welcome and encouraged to attend!
