The Initiative for New and Reimagined Work, the Department of Theater and Dance, and Ensemble Theater Company of Santa Barbara, are working together to present ENOUGH! Plays to End Gun Violence 2025, a nationwide reading of six new 10-minute plays by teen writers confronting gun violence.
The plays, part of a national initiative and selected by a committee of nationally renowned playwrights [Ken Cerniglia, Kate Hamill, Jame Ijames, Jason Reynolds, and Karen Zacarias], and guided by the committment and passion of retired politician and gun violence prevention advocate Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, create a space for young voices to be heard, engaging in conversation and inspiring action against one of the most pressing issues of our time.
We are now accepting audition video submissions for our six play readings. Please see that attached pdf audition announcement <ENOUGH 2025_UCSB Audition Announcement>.
