The A.S. Office of the Student Advocate (OSA) is officially recruiting for the upcoming year (2026-2027), and we are looking for passionate, driven students to join our team.
As your campus public defender, OSA is an executive office dedicated to providing free and confidential support to students navigating disputes with the University. Our mission is to ensure that every student is informed, supported, and empowered throughout their process.
We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
Caseworkers: Work one-on-one with students to guide them through university processes and help them navigate complex situations.Director of Public Interest: Monitor university policy updates, analyze case trends, research student interests at large, and produce informative content to keep students informed.Director of Student Life: Lead workshops and outreach initiatives focused on student rights and available resources.Software Developers: Support the development of the GoGaucho app and contribute to advocacy-related technical projects.Our work is rooted in promoting student rights and fostering accountability within the University system.
