Job Description: Our Events team hosts and staffs 120+ events a year on our athletic fields and facilities. These events include on-campus student organization and department events, external facility rentals, and Recreation special events such as the Rec Fest and the Turkey Trot. Our team's main priority is to manage risk and ensure that events run smoothly. Student staff responsibilities include set up and tear down of equipment, procuring waivers, responding to and documenting injuries, upholding department and campus policies, and providing excellent customer service. Our goal is to provide participants with a safe and enjoyable experience! Those who work with the Events Team are required to be available on the weekends, including early mornings and late nights. Staff typically work 5 to 10 hours per week. This position will have training hours and shadow shifts throughout the entirety of fall quarter to prepare for full staff responsibilities during the rest of the 2025-2026 school year.  PLEASE NOTE: Shifts are primarily scheduled on weekends!!!
