The Summer Open And Reproducible Research (SOAR²) Camp is a three-day program for UCSB undergraduate students interested in research. Hosted by the UCSB Library and the Office of Undergraduate Research & Creative Activities (URCA), SOAR² introduces students to practical research skills, including working with data, documenting research, and exploring open and reproducible research practices. Through interactive workshops, a keynote lecture, and field trips to research facilities, students will build confidence navigating research environments and gain tools they can apply in future research opportunities. No prior research experience is required.
