Hope you all are having a great start to your summer! Career Services has a few special events planned and some very valuable programs in place to help you with your career planning and development. Below, please find some important events to add to your calendar. Also, we are pleased to share our Summer digital calendar and hope you find the electronic format useful. Check out our professional services provided in Career Resource Room (CRR, Building 599)::

• Iris Photo Booth. Check out our newest resource and snap a FREE professional photo.

• Career Closet.  Find and keep an outfit that meets your specific career needs, whether it is something for a new internship, job, or even an interview.

Check out our online tech resources available at career.ucsb.edu:

• Cover Letter AI.  This is a new service available through Big Interview. Generate a personalized cover letter for each job you apply to complement your resume and increase your chances of landing the interview!

• Job Search Academy.  In collaboration with Indeed, Job Search Academy now available to The Academy focuses on mastering the 5 key areas of the job search so you feel confident every step of the way.

• Interstride. A tool for globally-minded students at UC Santa Barbara! Activate your Interstride account with your UCSB email to search for internships in the U.S. and abroad, attend webinars, explore cultural guides and discover international student friendly U.S. companies. 

In addition to exploring our comprehensive online digital toolkit, also take advantage of Document Review if crafting graduate school application essays.  Lastly, we encourage students to engage in our Career Peer Advising services Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm in the CRR. We look forward to seeing everyone at Career Services either in-person and virtually this quarter!
