One Final Spot in French Polynesia This Summer!

APPLY NOW

A space has just become available on our French Polynesia program this summer. This is a rare opportunity, as this program is usually full. If you're still firming up plans for your summer, getting to Tahiti is easier than most students expect, and gaining field experience while snorkeling on some of the world's most biodiverse reefs could be a great way to spend it.

French Polynesia: Marine Life, Warming Oceans and Rising Seas

Summer 2026: June 23–August 5, 2026

Over six weeks on Tahiti and Moorea, you'll snorkel coral reef lagoons, learn survey methods to assess reef health, and study how ocean warming and acidification are altering the marine environment. Beyond the reefs, you'll hike inland rainforests, explore freshwater streams, and engage with Polynesian communities whose connection to these ecosystems runs generations deep.

You'll earn 15 quarter credits and build real field research skills you can carry into grad school or a career in the environmental sciences. It's not too late to join us!

FRENCH POLYNESIA

Our summer programs also include Australia, Indonesia, Alaska, and Yellowstone, all with final spaces available. Fall 2026 programs in Japan, New Zealand, and Nepal are filling quickly as well. Visit our website to explore all upcoming programs.
