Dear friends and colleagues,

I hope you'll forgive the mass email. I'm reaching out because applications for Labor Summer 2026 are closing this Wednesday, February 4th. Several of you have already been circulating this opportunity among your undergraduate students, and I want to thank you for that! If appropriate, I'd really appreciate it if you could send one last reminder to your students.

Labor Summer is an 8-week paid summer internship that places students with unions and community organizations throughout the Central Coast where they gain hands-on experience organizing and advocating for social and economic justice. Several program alum have gone on to full-time jobs in the labor movement, where they are making real change for working people in our region. 

There is more information in the attached poster and on our website and we are holding one last Information Session today. Interested students should apply by Wednesday, February 4 at 11:59pm to be considered for this year's cohort.
