Hello,

My name is A.J. Flores, and I am the Professional Development Chair for the Latine/x Pre-Law Association at UCSB. We are excited to announce that we are collaborating with Lobby Corps and Civic Roots on a civic profession networking mixer. This is an opportunity for students to mingle with professionals in the legal, justice, and public service sectors. Please share our RSVP flyer and link so we can get a headcount for appetizers and beverages, and start advertising the event to students. Below is the email body:

“The UCSB Latinx Pre-Law Association is collaborating with Lobby Corps and Civic Roots on a civic profession networking mixer. This is an opportunity for students to mingle with professionals in the legal, justice, and public service sectors. 

Event details:

  • May 30th, 12:00-3:00 pm
  • Storke Plaza
  • Completely FREE to all students
  • Includes light appetizers and beverages
  • Mixing with career professionals + one keynote speaker
  • RSVP HERE

Additionally, if you are interested in joining LPLA, we host general board meetings every Tuesday, 6:30 - 7:30 pm at El Centro. All are welcome and there are no fees to join. We are the first pre-law organization on campus focused on Latine/x student voices and experiences. We host career events, social activities, and mentorship programs.
