New this week! Public Policy & International Affairs Program (PPIA) Fellowship.
The PPIA Fellowship grants future public policy leaders access to the Junior Summer Institute. The fellowship is a fully funded and rigorous graduate school preparation program, and lifetime participation in PPIA's Alumni Network and annual Public Service Expo. Deadline: November 1, 2024. New this week! Spring 2025 Paid Internship with the Heritage Foundation.
The Heritage Foundation will hire 50+ interns for Spring 2025 to work alongside staff in DC. Interns serve from early January 2025 to mid-April 2025, full or part time. All interns are paid $15/hour. Applicants will preferably be a college junior or above (including recent grads) by credit hours, but students with fewer credit hours are welcome to apply. International students who are authorized to be employed in the US are eligible. Hiring is on a rolling basis. Apply here

The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program's 2025-26 competition features over 400 awards offered in more than 130 countries. Deadline coming up! Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Graduate Fellowship
The Thomas R. Pickering Fellowship is a US Department of State program that seeks to attract and prepare young people who represent US ethnic, gender, social, and geographic diversity and have an interest in pursuing a Foreign Service career in the US Department of State. The Fellowship funds graduate study and two internships with the State Department, as well as mentoring and professional development. Candidates must be US citizens who seek admission to a two-year, full-time, on-campus, master’s degree program at a US-based graduate institution in an academic field relevant to the work of the Foreign Service. Deadline coming up! Rangel Graduate School Fellowship Program
The Charles B. Rangel Fellowship is a US Department of State program created to attract diverse talent to its Foreign Service. The program encourages the application of members of minority groups historically underrepresented in the Foreign Service, women, and those with financial need. Selected fellows will receive support for graduate school, internships, and professional development. Applicants must be US Citizens, college seniors or graduates, and be seeking entry into graduate school in fall 2023. They can come from any academic discipline. Payne International Development Fellowships and scholarships directoryhip
The USAID Donald M. Payne International Development Graduate Fellowship Program seeks to attract outstanding individuals who are interested in pursuing careers in the Foreign Service of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The Payne Fellowship, which provides up to $104,000 in benefits over two years for graduate school, internships, and professional development activities, is a unique pathway to the USAID Foreign Service. Applicants must be seeking admission to enter graduate school in the fall of 2025 for a two-year program at a U.S. university. Deadline: October 24, 2024. Apply here
SOCAP Conference October 28-30 - Opportunity for Students to Volunteer
Unlike any other conference in impact, the SOCAP conference has been the flagship event and leading convener in the impact economy, gathering more than 100,000 people since the first event. They bring together funders and founders, plus people from philanthropy, government, education, media, finance, science, faith-based organizations, NGOs, creatives, nonprofits, community leaders, and others. Call for Participants: USA Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka
Sister Cities International is recruiting US citizens ages 19-27 to serve as guides and cultural ambassadors at the USA Pavilion during Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan.For more than 160 years, Expos (also known as Worlds' Fairs) have helped humanity make sense of change and navigate through difficult times by promoting education, innovation, and cooperation. The World Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai will open April 13, 2025 and close October 13, 2025. Luce Scholars Program
The Luce Scholars Program is a nationally competitive fellowship that aims to forge stronger relationships across geographic borders by creating opportunities for young Americans to deepen their ties and understanding of the countries, cultures, and people of Asia. Candidates must be US citizens or permanent residents; be graduating seniors or recent graduates no more than three years out from receiving bachelor’s degree. Judy Schneider Fellowship
Women in Government Relations is accepting applications for the Judy Schneider Fellowship. The Fellowship supports candidates with no more than three years of professional work experience and an interest and/or experience in the government relations profession. This year-round program is aimed at creating the next generation of talent, ethical, savvy, and passionate advocates. Fellows must reside in the DC metropolitan area (DC, VA, or MD). International Affairs Junior Fellowship
The US Department of Treasury Junior Fellowship program is a fixed two-year program for new college graduates to work shaping international economic policy in the US Treasury's Office of International Affairs. Junior Fellows have exposure to multiple policy issues and opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills. Junior fellows will be placed in either a regional or functional office. US Citizens. Junior Fellows are usually hired at the GS-9 level and receive standard Treasury benefits. Strong candidates will have recently received – or will soon receive – a bachelor’s degree with relevant coursework in economics, public policy, finance, international relations, or related fields. Award from Women in International Trade
Women in International Trade awards $1,500 prizes to support women studying all aspects of International Trade, including global business, supply chains, economic development, women’s economic empowerment, trade policy, and more. Applicants must identify as female and be Juniors or Seniors currently enrolled at an accredited US university or college, either full-time or part-time. If your students are seeking a substantive internship or fellowship supporting US foreign policy,the State Department has an aggregated website or opportunities. World Food Programme Internships with Stipend
The World Food Programme offers internships to currently enrolled university students or those who graduated in the last six months. Candidates must have completed at least 2 years of undergraduate studies and have a working knowledge of English (other UN languages a plus). Open to citizens of WFP member countries. Internships normally last between two and eight months. WFP contributes a stipend that is connected to the specific duty station (maximum amount is US$1,000 per month). Interns must pay for and organize travel and accommodation arrangements; however, WFP will reimburse travel tickets for candidates who are nationals of developing countries and are pursuing their studies in their home country.
