Hi all,

We have many open seats in CMPSCW 8 in Sessions A and B, particularly session B (MTW, 9:30-10:50 session B), this summer! Please see below for the full course description.

There are no prerequisites for this course. There are also no major restrictions for this course in summer, unlike the rest of the year, so this is a great time for students interested in CMPSC to take this course! The course is offered online for both sessions, which makes it the perfect class for students who are not physically present at UCSB.

For students in L&S, the course satisfies a class in Area C and Area QNT.

CMPSCW 8: Intro to Comp Sci, Sessions A & B

Introduction to computer program development for students with little to no programming experience. Basic programming concepts, variables and expressions, data and control structures, algorithms, debugging, program design, and documentation.
