Parenting Students: Get Support for Childcare expenses!
The new
Basic Needs Childcare Grant is available to help parenting students, either Graduate or Undergraduate, cover childcare costs during their enrollment at UCSB. You could receive up to
$1,000 per quarter (or $3,000 for the academic year) based on your childcare expenses.

Yes.
Would the maximum per quarter vary depending on how many dependents there are?
Yes, if someone has more children they may be eligible for more support. Students will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

The maximum award is $1,000 per quarter or $3,000 for the academic year. Awards issued will be based on actual child care expenses.
