Subject: Virtual Open House for Hudson Institute Political Studies 2026 Summer Fellowship

Dear Ms. Zero,

I hope you are well and had a wonderful Thanksgiving,

I am reaching out to inquire whether might share information with your department about Hudson Institute Political Studies Summer Fellowship (a fully funded fellowship in the theory and practice of politics in Washington DC).

Our fellowship includes:

·         Seminars on political thought and American history

·         Workshops on public policy issues;

·         Speakers from government, academia, the military and journalism;

·         Events from a visit to the National Archives to a trip to the National Gallery of Art that complement our course of study.

·         A mentorship program to help students navigate next steps towards their professional goals.

·         Students participate free of charge, are given complimentary housing and we provide a stipend of $3,000 to offset travel food and other ancillary costs.

Faculty can nominate students for our 2026 Summer Fellowship by filling out this form or by sending me an e-mail with their names and e-mail addresses directly.

·         The Early decision deadline is January 9th.

·         Final applications are due March 2nd.

I am also including information about our next virtual open house (Tuesday, December 9 from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET), where students can learn more about the program and ask any questions they may have.

If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you, as always, for your help in recommending students to us.

Sincerely,

Rachel Mackey
