| LOTP Challenges the Narrative on Social Media and Phone UseSocial media isn’t always “good” or “bad” it’s all about balance! UCSB Health & Wellness and Life of the Party recently highlight different ways people think about screen time, encouraging students to challenge the idea that social media is automatically harmful. Instead of viewing screen time as something entirely negative, think about building healthy habits that work for YOU 💙 Some helpful tips for managing screen time include setting app limits, scheduling designated screen time into your day, switching your phone to grayscale, deleting distracting apps from your phone while keeping them on your laptop/tablet, and even filming study timelapses to avoid picking up your phone while working 📚⏳ Small changes can make a big difference in creating a healthier relationship with technology! 📱✨ |
