Hi Global majors,

As many of you are aware, our foreign language departments are facing some big budget cuts and uncertainty (which trickles down to our students in the form of fewer language courses, offered less frequently than we need them to be offered.)

If you have taken any language classes during your time at UCSB, help out by filling out this form to share your comments about the importance of language courses at UCSB!

Thanks!

Hi Meghan and Hailey,

I'm writing because some instructors are organizing against cuts to language programs at UCSB. They are trying to collect comments from former or current students to ask about the importance of studying language for them at UCSB, and are doing so through this google form. Would you be able to get this form to global studies undergrads who have taken language courses?

Best,
Paul
