Throughout the year, APSIA hosts a number of free events for your students:

 

 Gilman-McCain Fellowship

The Gilman-McCain Scholarship provides $5,000 for child and spousal dependents of active or activated US military personnel to study or intern abroad on credit-bearing programs. Must be a US citizen or national, an undergraduate or community college student in good standing at an accredited institution of higher education in the US, dependent (child or spouse) of active or activated US military personnel during the time of application, recipient of any type of Title IV federal financial aid during the time of application, and in the process of applying to/accepted to a credit-bearing study abroad or internship with an overall Travel Advisory Level 1 or 2, according to the State Department's Travel Advisory System. Reminder: Future Trade Leaders Fellowship
The CT Strategies Future Trade Leaders Fellowship supports the education and professional development of the next generation of women in international trade. Fellows receive funding for undergraduate studies, mentorship opportunities, and a paid summer internship at CT Strategies. Applicants must identify as female, be a rising junior or senior currently enrolled at an accredited university or college, have a demonstrated financial need, be studying supply chain/logistics, homeland security, international trade, economics, marketing, or a related field, and submit both a one-page resume and essay. Remote Volunteer/Internship Opportunities with Democracy Lab
Democracy Lab has a database of in-person and remote volunteer opportunities to use technology to solve challenging social, economic, environmental and civic problems. Virtual Volunteering Opportunity with the Library of Congress
The Library of Congress invites virtual volunteers to help transcribe documents. Volunteers create and review transcriptions to improve search, access, and discovery of these pages from history.
