oss staging repositories returning ERROR 503 today

Been trying to get the latest Eclipse Jetty stage promoted to maven central today.

Keep getting "Nexus returned an error: ERROR 503: Service Temporarily Unavailable" throughout the day.

Is there something going on?

The deploy to stage yesterday was even SUPER SLOW, we're talking 55 bytes a second (bytes, not kilo/mega, just lone bytes).

Is there a https://status.sonatype.org/ or https://oss.sonatype.org/status or @ossrh-status twitter handle we can use to check out what's going on?

The 503 is related to some config tweaking we're doing to see if we can get some relief from the 504s.  I'm a few minutes away from restoring things to see if they're any better.  http://status.sonatype.com will show in the "Repositories" section that service on oss.sonatype.org is degraded, and recent tweets will appear on that pages as well.
