I am installing it on a private network with self-signed Certs.

I would like to implement the Nexus Server to serve as a repository for Docker files.

For the most part, the setup is pretty simple,  and is well documented here:

A few things to keep in mind however --

1.) You will want to plan your blob stores a bit more than is documented on the current website.  The following link wiill at least provide some guidance to this (though it may not be perfect for your needs, just use it as an 'approach' guide):

2.) If you have any large files, you will need to also (for now at least) adjust your jetty-http and jetty-https timeout values so that as you are downloading the larger files, you do not hit the timeout issue that seems to be occuring with NXRM3.

Beyond that, everything is pretty well aligned with the documentation.  If you have any specific questions, let me know and I can attempt to give you more information and guidance.
