Hello Nexus,

We used to have separate pypi registry for pypi packages (http://pypi.dev.com/pypi). This is where we publish pypi packages .. Right now we upgraded nexus from 2.11 to 3.2.1 to support pypi registries and we hosted all pypi packages in nexus pypi-hosted repository !! do we have any way to change the pypi-hosted repo url to http://pypi.dev.com/pypi in Nexus ?

Here is the sample  ~/.pypirc file

$cat ~/.pypirc

[distutils]

index-servers =

    prod

[prod]

username:admin

password:xxxxxxxx

repository:http://nexus-test.dev.io/repository/pypi-hosted/

Here is the sample ~/.pip/pip.conf file

[global]

index = http://nexus-test.dev.io/repository/pypi-all/pypi

index-url = http://nexus-test.dev.io/repository/pypi-all/simple

pypi-all -> http://nexus-test.dev.io/repository/pypi-all/

pypi-hosted -> http://nexus-test.dev.io/repository/pypi-hosted/

pypi-proxy - > http://nexus-test.dev.io/repository/pypi-proxy/ -It proxies https://pypi.python.org/

Thanks in advance

Kalai, out of the box, Nexus Repository's repository URLs are all under /repository/{repo-name}.

If I understand your question correctly, what you'll need to do us put some sort of reverse proxy in front of Nexus Repository to do the URL mapping for you.

Regards,

Michael

Hi All,

Can you please provide solution to my below question.

I upgraded from sonatype nexus 2.11.2-03 to sonatype nexus 3.2.1-01. I setup HAProxy in sonatype nexus 3.2.1-01. When I'm access sonatype nexus 3.2.1-01 with https:\\xxxxxx.com\nexus in google chrome. I'm getting initializing in google chrome but I'm not accessing nexus console. Can you please provide any solution where we need to configure this settings in nexus sonatype nexus 3.2.1-01 server. Can you advise on this problem.

Thanks
PK
