Hello, in our company we develop a application based on eclipse rcp and use maven tycho to build it.

During training the Sonatype Nexus Repository Manger was recommended to us.

Currently we use Nexus Repository Manager OSS 2.13.0-01.

We want to use the Nexus Repository Manger for several use cases.

The most important one is to proxy maven and p2 repositories that the builds can run offline, when our internet connection is broken or maybe the external repositories stop to exist.

We have issues when we try to restore the system from a backup.

When we try to restore a backup on a offline system, the maven tycho build cannot read the p2 proxy repositories.

It works only when the nexus was once connected to the internet.

How should we configure the Nexus Repository Manger and the repositories?

We currently backup:

  • \nexus-2.13.0-01\conf
  • \nexus-2.13.0-01\bin\jsw\conf
  • \sonatype-work\nexus\conf
  • \sonatype-work\nexus\template-store
  • \sonatype-work\nexus\storage

We also tested it by making a copy of nexus-2.13.0-01 and sonatype-work folder, but this does not work too.

What has to be done after we restored a backup?

Thanks in advance

Hi Mark,

We'll need more information about how it doesn't work. Please open an issue at https://issues.sonatype.org/browse/NEXUS, provide a support bundle as attachment where the issue was reproduced, so we can help diagnose this.

If the Problem appears again and I can reproduce it I post again.
