nexus repo: conda package manager and raw hosted repository

Hi,

We've just started using the Nexus package manager.  Has anyone got the conda package manager (for python) working with the Nexus repository?  This post on SO talks about how it's not supported and to get around this we need to create a raw hosted repository.

I've followed the steps in the post but conda isn't picking up my package.  In conda I can see nexus as a channel but it's returning the error 

'PackagesNotFoundError'.  

Has anyone had any experience of getting this to work?
