Nexus migration 2 -> 3 fails with 404 no entity/body errors on nexus2 side

Hi All,.

I am stuck here, i was not able to find any hits on the issue that i am facing. 

Nexus 2 | 2.14.1-01 OSS (open jdk  "1.8.0_111")

Nexus 3 | 3.1.0-01 OSS (oracle jdk "1.8.0_101")

When it try to migrate with the download method i get below error messages:

Error on nexus2 side: 

2016-12-19 11:01:29 WARN  [p1704868478-131] - org.sonatype.sisu.siesta.server.internal.mappers.WebApplicationExceptionMapper - (ID 6cf805c4-f6bd-4f63-b6d6-eeacc764c3ff) Response: [404] (no entity/body) mapped from com.sun.jersey.api.NotFoundException/null for uri: https://MYSERVER/service/siesta/migrationagent/repository-content/atlassian-public-m2-repo/com/sun/jersey/jersey-server/maven-metadata.xml

If i check the data https://MYSERVER/content/repositories/atlassian-public-m2-repo//com/sun/jersey/jersey-server/maven-metadata.xml

i can download it with no problemo Does anyone have a clue?

I cannot help you on your issue, but I wanted to point out that we do not support running Nexus Repository Manager on Open JDK. It might work, it might not. I would suggest to run with the Oracle JDK for both, if you can, as it will at least remove that variable from your setup.
