Sonatype Nexus tmp folder cleanup automatically in version (2.6.4-02)

Hello ,

We are using Nexus OSS version : 2.6.4-02. Currently there are large chunk of data available under ${nexus-work}/tmp directory .
Will temp folder [${nexus-work}/tmp] gets cleaned-up automatically ?
Or Should we need clean-up manually  ? If it is manual cleanup , Will it affect the running nexus Instance ?

Also we have configured Empty Trash Scheduled Job , but it is only cleaning trash directory.

I'd advise upgrading, you're on a very old version and many bugs have been fixed since it was released.

You can remove everything from the tmp directory, just be sure nexus isn't running when you do this.
