Hello all,

Many of you have reached out to me about funding for this grant. I have an email from the grant organizer from May 8th that says funding will be sent in advance and not reimbursement style. I know that many of you are anxious to start spending for your planned events. I have sent a follow up email to Libraries Lead to see if I can get clarification for you. As may know if you emailed them, I got an email back saying the response will be delayed. Last time, it took a fews days for a response. As soon as I know more, I will email you. Thank you!

Hello all,

I did receive clarification on funding from the Libraries Lead team. The intent is to provide funding up front but it is a very slow process because they have so many. The payment will be a physical check mailed to the library. You have two options: you can wait for the funding or start spending and use the check to reimburse what you have spent.

Also, please make sure to email growwit...@georgialibraries.org with your event details with links to your social media promotions. Deborah is monitoring this Google Group and will help promote your events. 49 legislators opened her press release about the awards for this grant. That is a wonderful response. We want to continue this success so please keep us updated via this mailing list!
