Weather:
Clear skies, warm temps, and moderate southerly winds to start the day. Cumulus clouds forming by late-morning and becoming HOT! Increasing clouds and moderate to strong southwest winds into the mid-afternoon. The winds became very strong and gusty from the west with sudden falling temperatures and periods of light rain around 2pm EST that ended the count early.

Raptor Observations:
An excellent flight with the highlights being 578 Turkey Vultures, 54 Bald Eagles, and 502 Broad-winged Hawks. Overall the flight was high and to the lake side, and spotting was difficult against the blue skies for much of the day. There was a big push of vultures in the late morning then the flight was steady for a while. A decent push of low broad-wings and vultures with the gusty winds ahead of the storm.
