Weather:
ENE and NE winds produced far fewer birds than yesterday. Little cloud cover and temps near 70F.

Raptor Observations:
Winds pushed migrating raptors high and far from the hawk site, particularly later in the watch as birds were distant and difficult to see coming through haze. Predominantly Broadwing Hawks with one Bald Eagle and two Osprey. Flight direction highly variable!

Site Description
This spring only "all volunteer" watch is conducted at Lakeside Cemetery in
Hamburg, NY. It is located on flat lake plain located along the shoreline of the
east end of Lake Erie, about 10 miles south of Buffalo, NY.
