Conesus Count List for Little Lakes CBC

Here’s the Conesus portion for the Little Lakes Christmas Bird Count yesterday. The weather was not good: ice, foggy, cold, etc. but there were birds to be found. On the lake Redheads were the champions - large rafts milling about in many parts of the lake. late in the day more and more Canada geese showed up. My first birds of the day were two Screech Owls calling at 7 AM along Barber Hill Rd.  Terry and I had the last two, with a pair of Merlins at Vitale Park at 4:30 PM.
