Cold (in the 20s) and breezy for this morning’s RBA trip around Conesus Lake; we had a small but hearty crew of 6 and came up with a list of 34 species. There were hunters and strings of decoys at many locations, including in Vitale park itself, so waterfowl were scattered around the lake. Some birds of special interest included good looks at a pair of adult Bald Eagles and a Kingfisher at the inlet swamp area, Pied-billed and Red-necked Grebes along West Lake Rd., Tundra Swans near the north end and a raft of Redheads and others seen from Pebble Beach Rd.
