Saw 3 Dec. 11 top of the 20A hill out of Hemlock, heading towards Honeoye.

At least one summer, we had two pairs of adults in the marsh.

A friend from Indiana tells me that many sandhills are now commonly wintering in that state. Couple of thousand around northwest and probably 3-4 thousand in southern Indiana.
