Observers: Bob Williams, Luke Seitz, Maili Waters, Tia DeMartino

Visitors:
Tim Willis, Wendy Long 2 others with their dogs

Weather:
Hot and humid, with winds starting SW changing to S, then WNW by end of the count. Rain had passed through in the morning, but as soon as it cleared birds started flying.

Raptor Observations:
Great flight today! 702 for the total, which is the 2nd highest single day total since the official Summer Count started in 2019. Good variety with 9 species of raptors in total. 4 local Osprey observed, and one whiny juvenile Red-tailed Hawk hanging around the hedgerow (maybe a local still begging).

Non-raptor Observations:
Fox by the shelter

Predictions:
Mostly sunny conditions expected, with temps near 80F and winds WNW at 10-15 mph. Could bring a nice flight.
