Today, I ran USGS Breeding Bird Survey route from southeast of Canandaigua to the outskirts of Penn Yan. A highlight was an Orchard Oriole at a stop in the hamlet of Gorham.

P. S. I have run this route since 1995 and plan next year to be my last. If anyone is interested in exploring taking it over, let me know.
