Weather:
Multiple cloud layers all day, lower clouds moving fast from the southwest and a few spits of rain. The southwest wind was brisk and chilly. Temps held steady throughout the 4 hours of the watch at 60F (15.5C).

Raptor Observations:
A tepid migration flight of 23 Turkey Vultures, 2 Red-tails, 8 Broadwings and 1 Sharp-shin. 1 local Bald Eagle and the odd local Turkey vulture.

Non-raptor Observations:
No other birds of note.

Predictions:
National Weather Service at 5pm says, "A chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 52. Northwest wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%." Sorry, Sharon!

Site Description
This spring only "all volunteer" watch is conducted at Lakeside Cemetery in
Hamburg, NY. It is located on flat lake plain located along the shoreline of the
east end of Lake Erie, about 10 miles south of Buffalo, NY.
