Observers: Colin Gallagher, Kevin Rybczynski, Sharon Sisti, Tom Riley

Visitors:
Tom Riley, Sharon Sisti, Colin Gallagher and Kevin Rybczynski along with some creepy dude who kept his distance thankfully.

Weather:
Light cloud cover at the beginning of the count and quickly changing over to clear skies. Winds were consistent out of the WSW throughout the count period. Temperatures were very comfortable ranging from the mid-50s to 60 degreesF.

Raptor Observations:
A great day for migration after birds had been held up on Sunday and Monday due to snow, lake-effect snow/rain showers and northerly winds. The weather yesterday was marginal so today they camethe adult Broad-wings! Spectacular show of birds in tight kettles and birds in steady streams, sometimes in varying directions, with many birds right overhead and low. A nice mix of other raptors as well. I saw one immature Broad-wing today and two adult missing tails!

Non-raptor Observations:
Other birds on the move included Barn Swallow and Common Loon. I was too busy to notice much more today.

Predictions:
Sunny with some clouds, high in the mid-60s but with a light NE wind. May provide good viewing earlier in the day before birds get high catching lift from the northeasterly breeze. Should be a notable flight tomorrow.
