Weather:
Rain delayed the start of the count until the early afternoon. After the rain stopped the sun came out for a brief period before becoming overcast again. Winds were moderate and southerly. Some periods of rain including a brief downpour around 1:30pm EST. After that it quickly became mostly sunny with strong southwest winds and it remained that way through the end of the count.

Raptor Observations:
After the rain stopped and the sun came out there was a small amount of migration, primarily Turkey Vultures. After the final rain when the sun came out it launched a big flight of Turkey Vultures, Broad-winged Hawks and Bald Eagles, plus small numbers of other expected migrants. Notable totals included 127 Turkey Vultures, 231 Broad-winged Hawks, and nearly a hundred Bald Eagles including 64 in an hour with 25+ seen at the same time.
