Weather:
Overcast to start with but breaking out into warm and sunny by the last hour. Unfortunately, light winds were from the northeast for the first 2 hours and due north for the last 3.
Raptor Observations:
A single immature bald eagle in the middle hour was the only migrant to be seen. Appearances by the local redtails and one of the local Cooper's covered it for other raptors.
Non-raptor Observations:
Great crested flycatcher, red-headed woodpecker and ring-necked ducks were the other notable species.
Predictions:
NWS promises a warm sunny day. However, today is the final day of dedicated coverage here at Hamburg. So, a big THANK YOU is in order to all of our volunteers this spring!

Site Description
This spring only "all volunteer" watch is conducted at Lakeside Cemetery in
Hamburg, NY. It is located on flat lake plain located along the shoreline of the
east end of Lake Erie, about 10 miles south of Buffalo, NY.
