GC 1.4.2 against OC 6: scheduler and ingest problem

Hi there,

we are running Galicaster capture agents v 1.4.2 on Ubuntu 12 against a
rather freshly upgraded OC 6.4.

At the beginning of the new term we now notice, that some of the
communication fails:

* Galicaster will not pick up the schedule anymore from OC
* Galicaster will not ingest a recording to OC

Still, Galicaster will send it's status (Recording or not) to OC.

What can be done about that? Every hint welcome.

Hi Andreas,

I think you have to upgrade to Ubuntu 16.04 or 18.04 + Galicaster 2.x.

Galicaster 1.x is not compatible with Opencast 6.x. Also Canonical
ended 12.04 cycle at Apr 2017 + security updates at Apr 2019.
