Barony of Aquaterra calls for Volunteers to be Officers!

Greetings unto the populace of Aquaterra,

As we all know, the SCA runs on the spirit of volunteering. Among the most vital services one can provide is to serve as a Baronial Officer. These warrants typically run for two years and can be extended by an additional year at the officer’s request.

Certain roles, known as Primary Offices, must remain filled to maintain our status as a Barony. These include:

• The Coronets
• Seneschal
• Exchequer
• Master of Stables
• Gorges Herald
• Minister/Mistress of Arts and Sciences
• Chatelaine
• Chronicler

If any of these positions remain vacant for more than three months, it can put our baronial status at risk.

Currently, the office of Master of Stables is open, which means the three-month clock has begun. We wish to express our deepest gratitude to HL Loftr Jolgeirsson for his tireless work over the last three years, as well as the three years he served as Warlord. While his warrant expired at the beginning of April, he has graciously offered to help and guide anyone interested in stepping into the position.
