I've recently opened a yaq enhancement proposal [1] introducing a new "fields" system into the ecosystem. I'm hoping that this new system makes client development significantly easier.

This proposal has not yet been approved. My next step is to start playing with implementation.

I'd love to get any comments or questions now. Contact me directly or post on the gitlab issue if you have anything to say.
