We have two exciting master’s programmes open for applications at the University of Roehampton, London.
- MRes in Primate Biology, Behaviour and Conservation
- Masters by Research (MbyRes) in Ecology, Evolution and Behaviour
Both courses offer students the opportunity to develop, design and
conduct a substantial independent research project with the support of a
dedicated supervisor who is the world-leading expert in their field. These include
academic staff in the School of
Life and Health Sciences. Further details about each course can be found

Examples of research project opportunities (and the supervisor)
include:
- Social buffering in despotic versus egalitarian systems (Julia Lehmann)
- Sociaal behaviour in a changing environment (Harry Marshall)
- Contagion of affiliative social behaviour in primates (Stuart Semple)
- Individual foraging specialisation in social groups (Harry Marshall)
- Social integration: causes, consequences and ontogeny (Julia Lehmann)
- Testing linguistic laws in primate communication (Stuart Semple)
- Division of labour and sexual differences in bone robusticity in hunter-gatherers and farmers (Lia Betti)
