Demos la bienvenida a una nueva Instructora sobre conservación de primates en la naturaleza, Maryuri Tapia Ponce, quien estudió ingeniería en gestión ambiental en la universidad técnica privada de Loja, en Ecuador. Realizó su tesis sobre un plan integral para el manejo de residuos sólidos, enfocado en la protección y conservación del medio ambiente, evitando la extracción excesiva de recursos naturales. También realizó pasantías en el Ministerio de Ambiente, Agua y Transición Ecológica de la provincia de Sucumbíos-Ecuador, en la unidad de Calidad Ambiental realizando el mejor proceso anual de gestión de residuos peligrosos y no peligrosos, y la inspección de la construcción de centros turísticos en los paisajes de la naturaleza, en los que a través de su construcción se supervisa para asegurar el menor impacto en la destrucción de los bosques para que no dañen los hábitats, realizando auditorías de cumplimiento ambiental, e inspeccionando los planes de manejo ambiental.

Please welcome a new Instructor on the conservation of primates in nature, Maryuri Tapia Ponce, who has studied engineering in environmental management at the private technical university of Loja, in Ecuador. She completed her thesis on a comprehensive plan for solid waste management, focused on the protection and conservation of the environment, avoiding the excessive extraction of natural resources. She also completed internships at the Ministry of Environment, Water and Ecological Transition of the province of Sucumbíos-Ecuador, in the Environmental Quality unit carrying out best annual management processes of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, and the inspection of the construction of related tourist centers in the landscapes of natures, in which through their construction It is supervised to ensure the least impact in the destruction of forests so that they do not damage habitats, carrying out environmental compliance audits, and inspecting environmental management plans.
