Wisconsin primate sanctuary needs a new intern to reside on-site, be trained as a staff member, gain primate experience, and have the opportunity to care for deserving monkeys!

Please see the attached application for more information but here is a summary
Length of internship: hoping for a 6 month commitment, but willing to work with your needs
When start: would like someone to move on-site in September, or October at the latest 
Cost to you: your relocation but housing and utilities are free
Pay: unpaid but free stay in a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house in exchange for volunteer shifts
Are pets allowed: yes with permission
Will anyone else be living at the house: no but you are welcome to bring a roommate if they pay rent or volunteer as well
Tasks: be trained as an animal care volunteer then unpaid staff member caring for 11 deserving monkeys 
Location: Westfield, Wisconsin which is approximately one hour northwest of Madison, WI
Monkeys on-site: rhesus macaques, vervet monkey, green monkey, lion-tail/pigtail macaque hybrid
Requirements: animal care experience required but primate experience preferred, must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle 
What we are looking for: a motivated, passionate, eager team member to add to our team; must work well on a team environment, have a good awareness of surroundings, and pick up on training quickly; team member who will also value our priorities of safety and monkey welfare
