Attend the community's events! Each month, the community hosts a project discussion forum where practitioners share and discuss their applications of machine learning. The morning following each ML+X forum, there is a social/co-working event ("ML+Coffee") for practitioners in Madison to meet one another, co-work on projects, and enjoy some caffeinated beverages.
Introduce yourself in the Data Science Hub’s Slack channel, #ml-community. To join join the #ml-community channel, set up an account in the the Data Science Hub Slack Workspace, and then add the #ml-community channel to your list of channels.
Subscribe to ML workshop notifications: In collaboration with the UW-Madison Carpentries Community, the ML+X community develops and hosts several ML workshops throughout the calendar year, including Intro to ML with Sklearn, Intro to Deep Learning, and more!
