[euler-users] Filesystem Maintenance Complete

Hello Euler Users,

The maintenance outage is done and Euler is back online. The underlying upgrade includes a fix for a feature which provides significantly improved performance, so we will be testing the stability of that fix under daily use as users return to the cluster. In the worst case scenario, the filesystem may freeze, but there should be little to no potential for data loss and we can disable the feature again if it does cause any problems.

If you run into problems or suspect that there's something not working correctly, please let us know at euler-...@engr.wisc.edu.

We will continue to keep you updated as we get more information about the final phase of the storage upgrade. Other than that, please expect another notification in the next few days about some changes going on in the Fall 2023 semester.
