Hello Euler users,

A new issue with a text editor plugin has caused some filesystem issues with the login nodes. We are going to reboot them before the issue is able to spread to the compute nodes.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this unplanned interruption.

If you are currently using PyCharm to connect directly to Euler, please note that it is discouraged from use on the cluster, and we are currently considering whether it is necessary to ban the software entirely in order to prevent this and similar problems in the future. If banned, it would join Visual Studio Code (and variants) in the list of software not allowed on the cluster and we may introduce security measures to prevent it from launching in the future.
