Applications are open for a Research Associate in Energy Innovation, Economics and Policy to support a research project funded by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation (USA) joint with Prof. Jonas Meckling at UC Berkeley. The three-year project is entitled 'Designing Public Institutions for Commercializing New Clean Energy Technologies'. It is a US-focussed project and its aim is to identify and classify institutional characteristics or models of US public programs on cleantech and on assessing their commercialization outcomes.
It is a 2-year Research Associate post in the Centre for Environment, Energy and Natural Resource Governance in the Conservation Research Institute at the University of Cambridge. The application deadline is June 19, 2024.

The post will be of particular relevance with people with an econometric, statistics or data science or machine learning background, and ideally some experience and definitely interest in climate mitigation and energy.
