Subject: GE Research EEDP Recruitment -- WiscWind Graduate Students

Hello,

I was hoping that you could pass along the following information to WiscWind. Recent Badger graduate here as of December 2020; I completed both my B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at UW-Madison. I’ll be at the Fall Engineering Recruiting Fair on Wednesday 9/15 from 1-7pm and am hoping to get the word out about GE Research recruiting for Master’s students in various engineering disciplines. I’ll be specifically recruiting for a 2022 internship and a job posting at GE Research located in Niskayuna, NY (see attached pdf); the minimum requirements are current or upcoming confirmed enrollment in a full-time Master’s degree, at least a 3.0 GPA, and permanent legal work authorization in the US. These are the two job numbers (linked) which can be inputted on https://jobs.gecareers.com/global/en:

Furthermore, PhD hires at GE Research generally have the initial role of Research Engineer. For example, this job posting for an Aerodynamics Research Engineer: R3560310

Best,
