I hope you had a great weekend! I'm helping Action for the Climate Emergency (ACE) hire a couple of positions in WI, and due to your experience with Wisconsin Energy Institute, I thought you might know great candidates for the role! Below is a bit more info:
ACE is 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to educating and activating millions of young people to end the era of fossil fuels, accelerate the deployment of renewable energy, and ultimately avoid the worst impacts of the climate emergency.
Wisconsin State Field Director
Ideal candidates for the Wisconsin Field Director have 8+ years experience in field or issue organizing. They have demonstrated leadership and management skills, and experience strategizing and leading campaign work. Expertise in youth development, youth organizing, and/or the climate movement is also a plus.
$80,000 - $90,000 a year + benefits. Remote position based in the Madison or Milwaukee areas.
Canvass Director - Milwaukee County
Ideal candidates for the Milwaukee County Canvass Director have 2-3 years experience in civic engagement field organizing and canvass directing, preferably with direct voter contact and voter registration experience. They must also have a passion for youth engagement, climate or other social justice focus.
$60,000-$72,000 + benefits. Based in Milwaukee County.
