Background:
The Chimpanzee Conservation Center (CCC), located in Guinea in the Haut Niger National Park, works to rehabilitate orphaned chimpanzees who are victims of illegal trafficking. The CCC plays a key role in the preservation of this critically endangered species (Pan troglodytes verus) and in the conservation of their natural habitat. We also raise awareness among local communities about the importance of biodiversity and take action to protect the ecosystem.

Job Description:
As an eco- volunteer, you will play a central role in supporting conservation actions. You will be involved in:
• Enrichment for isolated chimpanzees
• Bush outings with the youngest chimpanzees occasionally
• Prepare CCC communication
• Infrastructure maintenance
• Occasional help with the care of very young orphaned chimpanzees (surrogate parenting)

Required profile:
• Experience in caring for animals, especially primates, a plus
• Autonomy, initiative, and ability to adapt to an isolated environment.
• Experience in communication
• Able to communicate in French (experience in West Africa is an asset).
• Motivation and resilience in the face of sometimes demanding field conditions.

Conditions:
• Duration of the mission: 6 months with the possibility of extension.
• Accommodation and meals: Provided by the CCC.
• Costs to be expected: Travel, visa, health insurance, and personal expenses.
• Contribution: 200 euros per month
