I am getting build error as below-

Target set command -  fx set workstation_eng.qemu-x64 --release

I am using a MacBook Pro with 2.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 having 8GB RAM.

Error:-

[1171/97080](8) ../../src/developer/ffx/lib/version/build/gn_write_version_info.sh obj/src/developer/ffx/lib/version/build/ffx_version_info.txt ../../integration/.git

FAILED: obj/src/developer/ffx/lib/version/build/ffx_version_info.txt

../../src/developer/ffx/lib/version/build/gn_write_version_info.sh obj/src/developer/ffx/lib/version/build/ffx_version_info.txt ../../integration/.git

Any help on how to fix this ?

Chinmay, would you be able to give us more detailed troubleshooting information?
One way about it is for you to do the following from the root of your checkout:

cd $(fx get-build-dir)
../../src/developer/ffx/lib/version/build/gn_write_version_info.sh obj/src/developer/ffx/lib/version/build/ffx_version_info.txt ../../integration/.git

Please let us know if you were able to run this command, and if it printed any useful errors.

I could fix the issue. It was related to git version. Make sure to use correct git version. I have updated git and used latest python version.
