Sewing Collective Sewists Needed to Sew Masks for Washtenaw County Community

Have a sewing machine? Want to help the community? Apply to be a part of the Engage@EMU Sewing Collective!

Sewists will help to sew masks for the Washtenaw County community. Pre-made sewing kits (cut fabric and elastic) to make 50 masks are included. Sewing instructions and procedures for contactless pick-ups and drop-offs for the kits and completed masks will be sent upon completed application. All sewists are eligible to receive a stipend upon completion.

A sewing machine is required for this position as well as previous sewing experience.
